You are invited to participate in the 2013 Asian Conference in Education and Technology (ACET)in Seoul, South Korea. The Conference will be held from July 24-26, 2013 at the Renaissance Seoul Hotel, Seoul, South Korea. Seoul is the largest city and the capital of the Republic of South Korea. As the cultural, economical and political epicenter of the country, nearly half of South Koreans live in Seoul. It is also home to major commercial companies such as Samsung, LG and Hyundai. Additionally, Seoul has hosted important global events, including the 1986 Asian Games, 1998 Summer Olympics and 2002 FIFA World Cup and will host the G-20 Summit in November
2010. The city of Seoul cherishes its heritage and carefully maintains its historical monuments, royal palaces and temples. In addition, Seoul is a city on the move, constantly revitalizing itself, balancing ultra-modern renewal with careful restoration of its ancient buildings and preservation of the environment. The mountains surrounding Seoul are breathtaking and the Han River flowing through the center of the city offers scenic recreational escapes. Here in Seoul, you will find a harmony of the past and present, history and future, culture, economy and environment. Seoul is a global city that blends the culture of yesterday with the trends of today and the hopes of tomorrow.
The theme of the ACET 2013 is “Education and Technology: Towards Reengineering Education in Asia and Beyond the Borders.” The objectives of the conference are to: (1) to provide a forum for professional and student researchers across the world as means for dissemination and utilization of high impact education and technology researches; (2) to nourish collaborations among researchers and institutions in the promotion and production of researches; (3) to recognize meritorious contributions of world researchers and institutions; and, (4) to promote quality research publications as credible sources of scientific literature.

Only those who have valid passports expiring beyond six months, have capability to pay, and determined to attend must apply. We do not provide scholarships/funds for presenters.

SUBMISSIONS FOR PRESENTATION CONSIDERATION
Submit a 200-word abstract with five parts: (1) introduction of the topic; (2) chief purpose; (3) methods; (4) results; and (5) conclusion with keywords having four parts: (1) discipline of the study; (2) concepts investigated; (3) methods and process, (4) geography (country/continent). It must be accompanied by updated curriculum vitae, photocopy of passport, 2×2 photo, ORCID number from orcid.org, name of institution, and institution logo, and flag of country

IAMURE Standards in the Submission of the Abstract for World Conferences
1. Newness of discovery as your contribution to global knowledge. Of the many things you discovered in your study, decide only three most important information that you happened to know only when you finished the study. Make sure these are captured in your abstract. Your abstract is like the exhibit area, encased in glass in a boutique that shoppers can see samples of your best merchandize collection, so they respond to enter your store, check the items, try them, then buy. Shoppers buy first what is new, nice to look at, comfortable, sets them apart higher than others, affordable and of good quality. Design your abstract from this perspective ” Why should a world scientist take time to read me and listen to me when he knows many things already? What can I tell him that he can quote or cite in his next paper? How can I make him trust me that what I tell him is correct and credible? Can my full paper support everything claim in my abstract when the paper gets published?”
2. Technical requirements in abstract writing.
Title. Base your title on the most important result and not on the scope of the study. Use no more than 12 to 15 words.
Identifying the information. Write your name only. Do not include your degree titles. Do not include your co-authors since the abstract is for presenters only. If your co-author intends to register as a participant, you can include the name. Write your ORCID number. Go to orcid.org to register for your open researcher and contributor ID. This is your permanent lifetime ID as a world researcher whose works are collected and listed in a database shared by CrossRef, Thomson Reuters and Scopus. Write your email address. We prefer your webmail issued by your current employer or university , Example is firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have none, then write your name in a Gmail account , example is email@example.com. This address will appear in the journal publication as point of contact. Do not use any other alias as email since you are a scientist. Write your preferred organization as your affiliation.
Body parts. Begin with a sentence introduction of your main concepts investigated and their dynamics that gives the reader a peek into your content. Do not begin by stating the objective of the study as most researchers do. Second, state the major purpose or objective of the study. Do not state all objectives, write only one comprehensive sentence. Do not state the purpose as a question, state is as a declarative sentence. Third, state your methods in a sentence that synthesizes how you conducted your research according to the standards of your discipline or field. Fourth, state your most important results, about three only that directly answers your objective. Fifth, state your conclusions. Recommend one item that has international application, otherwise you do not write a recommendation. Do not cite authors in your abstract.
Keywords. Write keywords to contain four parts: discipline/field your study belongs, the concepts you investigated, the method and processes, and the geography of the study -local and continental. These pieces of information are useful for library indexing and web searching.
Quality assurance test. Use a Microsoft word counter if you reached 200 words only. Do not submit shorter or longer abstracts since that will destroy the space allocation in the Book of Abstracts and the final journal publication. Next, use a spelling and grammar checker software to cleanse your writing of errors. Read it aloud to feel your language, grammar, punctuation and other mechanics.
Submission requirements. Attach your photo in jpeg that shows your face and part of your upper formal dress. The photo must present you as a celebrity with nice hair, clean made-up face. World impressions begin with this photo. Use a current photo. Do not submit photo showing you in a graduation gown, or casual wear. It must be something that shows you like the ambassador of your country or royalty of your kingdom. Send logo of your organization or university and the flag of your country. Send your professional updated curriculum Vitae that show your academic degrees, publications in complete journal bibliographic entries. Go to Google Scholar and Orcid to check your online accessible publications because only these really matter that define your research productivity and world status as researcher. Do not list unpublished researches and those published in print only journals. Prefer to select those publications with a digital object identifier. Include your leadership engagements in research. List your involvement in journal editorial boards and peer review. List your research related awards. List your most important national and international oral presentations. List your research grants. All these are needed as your entry to the research awards. If you have no track record since you just graduated, or you are starting your research career, IAMURE welcomes you to serve as your global platform to start your career in research.
Attach in your submission your bibliographic list as one basis for evaluation by the scientific committee.
We expect to receive abstracts only from researchers who have valid passports, can afford to pay the registration, and are determined to participate. We do not offer fund grants to presenters. We are a serious scientific organization that is ISO certified.
We expect you to publish your work with us since oral presentations alone do not build your research and publication track record. We provide monthly data of world readers to our journals to inform contributors of the countries reading the journals. Our journals are indexed, cross referenced, ISO certified, and globally accessible.
Post submission of abstract. The scientific committee reviews your abstract and sends you the results and instructions for improvement. Guidelines will be issued.
All attending participants must register and pay the registration fee. Conference registration is US$ 775 for presenting and non-presenting attendees. Accepted papers will be peer-reviewed and published in IAMURE International Journals. There is a US$ 100 for each additional paper for presentation (maximum of two per presenter). A US$ 50 late fee applies for registration fees received after the regular payment deadline. If your payment is not received on the final payment deadline, your participation will be cancelled. A charge invoice shall be issued to facilitate your request for payment. A copy of the payment slip must be emailed to the organizer as basis for the release of acceptance letter.
Application for visa and payment of all visa application charges (depending on your country of origin) shall be the sole responsibility of the participant. For security purposes, we will issue acceptance letter (one of the requirements for visa application) only after payment of registration fee has been made.
